Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens won against French qualifier Tiantsoa Rakotomanga Rajaonah 6-3, 6-3 to move into the semi-finals of the Rouen Open at the Kindarena on Friday evening.
Lamens, ranked No 69, will play Serb Olga Danilovic, the No 3 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Dutchwoman edged out Canadian wildcard Bianca Andreescu (6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (2)) and defeated second seed Linda Noskova (6-4, 6-1).
Rakotomanga Rajaonah, ranked No 291, beat Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 7 seed (6-2, 6-3) and Romanian Jaqueline Cristian (6-2, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
