Rome Masters: Zverev eases past Gaubas to breeze into last 16

German Alexander Zverev, the second seed, won against Lithuanian qualifier Vilius Gaubas 6-4, 6-0 to advance to the last 16 of the Rome Masters at the Foro Italico in Rome.
Zverev, ranked No 2, will play Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 13 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the German defeated Argentinian Camilo Ugo Carabelli (6-2, 6-1).
Gaubas, ranked No 154, edged out Bosnian Damir Dzumhur (7-6 (3), 2-6, 6-4) and won against Canadian Denis Shapovalov, the No 27 seed (6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Italian Open.
