Musetti into Rome quarters with win over Medvedev – after three-hour rain delay on match point
Lorenzo Musetti defeated Daniil Medvedev 7-5, 6-4 on Tuesday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 13 seed, and German Alexander Zverev, the second seed, in the next round

Italian Lorenzo Musetti reached the quarter-finals of the Rome Masters on Tuesday with a 7-5, 6-4 win over 10th seed Daniil Medvedev at the Foro Italico on Tuesday.
Musetti had to wait three hours before getting there though, after the match was delayed due to rain when he stood at match point in the second set. When they resumed, he needed just one point to clinch the win.
