Italian Flavio Cobolli reached the semi-finals of the Hamburg Open by winning against Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut 7-6 (4), 6-0 at Tennis Stadion.
Cobolli, ranked No 35, will play Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
The Italian beat Ukrainian lucky loser Vitaliy Sachko (5-7, 6-2, 6-2) and Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 5 seed (6-4, 7-5) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Hamburg tournament, Bautista Agut, ranked No 57, defeated American Marcos Giron (7-6 (5), 6-0) and American Frances Tiafoe, the second seed (6-2, 6-3).
