Serb Novak Djokovic, the No 6 seed, reached the last four of Roland-Garros by edging out German Alexander Zverev, the No 3 seed, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday evening.
Djokovic, ranked No 6, will play Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed, next.
The 38-year-old Serb beat American Mackenzie McDonald (6-3, 6-3, 6-3), Frenchman Corentin Moutet (6-3, 6-2, 7-6 (1)), Austrian qualifier Filip Misolic (6-3, 6-4, 6-2) and Cameron Norrie (6-2, 6-3, 6-2) in the previous rounds of the Roland-Garros 2025.
Zverev, ranked No 3, a runner-up in 2024, won against American Learner Tien (6-3, 6-3, 6-4), Dutchman Jesper De Jong (3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-3), Italian Flavio Cobolli (6-2, 7-6 (4), 6-1) and Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor (6-4, 3-0 ret.).
