Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 5 seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Queen’s by winning against Katie Boulter 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 at Queen’s Club in London on Thursday.
Shnaider, ranked No 12, will play American Madison Keys, the second seed, next.
The 21-year-old Russian defeated Pole Magdalena Frech (6-4, 6-1) in the previous round of the Queen’s tournament.
In the first round of the Queen’s tournament, Boulter, ranked No 34, edged out Australian qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic (7-6 (4), 1-6, 6-4).
