‘s-Hertogenbosch Open: Andreescu through to last eight
Bianca Andreescu won against Lulu Sun 6-0, 6-4 on Thursday afternoon and will face Romanian qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the next round

Canadian wildcard Bianca Andreescu reached the last eight of the ‘s-Hertogenbosch Open by beating New Zealander Lulu Sun, the No 7 seed, 6-0, 6-4 at Autotron Rosmalen on Thursday.
Andreescu, ranked No 118, will play Romanian qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse next.
The Canadian won against qualifier Joanna Garland (6-1, 6-3) in the previous round of the Rosmalen tournament.
During the first round of the Rosmalen tournament, Sun, ranked No 43, won against Dutch wildcard Anouck Vrancken Peeters (6-1, 6-3).
