Wildcard Daniel Evans moved into the second round of the Queen’s by winning against American Frances Tiafoe, the No 7 seed, 7-5, 6-2 at Queen’s Club in London on Monday afternoon.
It’s the first time since september 2023 that Danien Evans beats a Top 20 player.
Evans, ranked No 199, will play the winner of the match between American Brandon Nakashima and Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard next.
