Fritz defeats Davidovich Fokina to move into fourth Eastbourne Open final

American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, moved into the final of the Eastbourne Open by defeating Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 6 seed, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club.
Fritz, ranked No 5, will play American lucky loser Jenson Brooksby next.
The American edged out Brazilian Joao Fonseca (6-3, 6-7 (5), 7-5) and Marcos Giron (7-5, 4-6, 7-5) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 28, won against lucky loser Chun-Hsin Tseng (7-6 (6), 6-2), Australian qualifier James Duckworth (6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-4) and No 3 seed Jakub Mensik (6-4, 7-5).
