US Open: Lehecka first qualified for the fourth round

Jiri Lehecka won against Raphael Collignon 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 on Friday

Czech Jiri Lehecka, the No 20 seed, defeated Belgian Raphael Collignon 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to move into the last 16 of the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Friday evening. Lehecka, ranked No 21, will face the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton, the No 6 seed, and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino next.

Collignon, ranked No 107, had upsetted Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 12 seed (6-4, 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5) in the previous round.
