Jannik Sinner launches Foundation to support education and youth sports
Jannik Sinner has officially launched the Jannik Sinner Foundation in Milan, a new initiative dedicated to expanding access to education and sports for children worldwide.

Jannik Sinner officially unveiled the Jannik Sinner Foundation at an exclusive event in Milan on Thursday evening. The launch brought together over 100 guests, including Foundation President Alex Vittur, board member Stefano Domenicali, and Director Christina Tauber.
The foundation aims to expand access to education and sports for children, supporting school programs, sports organizations, and community initiatives. “I’ve been lucky to pursue my passion through tennis, but I know millions of children never get the chance to follow their dreams because they don’t have access to school,” Sinner said on stage. “Standing here tonight, I see the project is finally alive, and we are ready to help children realize their dreams.”
A key moment of the evening was the announcement of the foundation’s first partnerships. In education, the foundation launched a three-year collaboration with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), the world’s largest fund dedicated to improving schooling in low-income countries. Laura Frigenti, CEO of GPE, highlighted the impact: “Jannik Sinner’s vision and global influence bring fresh momentum and visibility to the education cause. Together, we can help millions of marginalized children learn and thrive.”
In sports, the foundation partnered with Südtirol Sporthilfe, a non-profit from Sinner’s home region of South Tyrol that provides funding, mentorship, and development opportunities to young athletes. “Supporting young athletes and giving children access to sports has always been at the heart of our mission. Joining forces with the Jannik Sinner Foundation allows us to create even more opportunities for the next generation,” said Giovanni Podini, President of Südtiroler Sporthilfe.
Director Christina Tauber emphasized the foundation’s mission: “Education multiplies possibilities, opening doors that shape lives and communities. Supporting GPE is a powerful first step, and collaborating with Südtiroler Sporthilfe lets us give back to the community that shaped Jannik’s journey.”
The launch marked the beginning of an ambitious initiative, combining Sinner’s global influence with targeted programs in education and sports, aiming to give children everywhere the chance to pursue their dreams.
