Paris Masters: Bublik exits De Minaur to reach maiden Masters 1000 semifinal
Alexander Bublik edged out Alex De Minaur 6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-5 on Friday afternoon. He’ll face Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 9 seed, in the next round

Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 13 seed, edged out Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 6 seed, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the last four of Paris Masters at the Paris La Défense Arena on Friday afternoon.
Bublik is on a 30-7 run since his quarterfinal at Roland Garros, including titles in Halle, Gstaad, Kitzbuhel and Hangzhou and he becomes the first player from Kazakhstan to reach an ATP Masters 1000 semi-final. He is know 6-5 against Top 10 players in 2025, including win over No. 4 Fritz in third round.
Bublik, ranked No 16, will face Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 9 seed, next. The Canadian outplayed Valentin Vacherot earlier in the afternoon (6-2, 6-2).
In the previous rounds of the Paris Masters tournament, De Minaur, ranked No 6, had secures his place to the ATP Finals. He defeated Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 10 seed (6-2, 6-2) and Canadian Gabriel Diallo (7-6 (8), 4-6, 6-3) on the way.
