ALERT, Metz Open: Tien wins his first ATP title in career

American Learner Tien edged out Englishman Cameron Norrie, the No 7 seed, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (6) in 2h12 to win the Metz Open title at the Arènes de Metz on Saturday evening.
This is the 19-year old first ATP title, that will allow him to enter in the Top 30 and be a seed at the Australian Open.
Tien beat Ukrainian lucky loser Vitaliy Sachko (6-1, 6-4), Italian Matteo Berrettini (5-7, 6-2, 6-3), Tunisian lucky loser Moez Echargui (7-6 (3), 6-3) and French wildcard Ugo Blanchet (6-3, 6-3) on the way.
Norrie, ranked No 27, loses a second final in a row at the Moselle Open. He defeated Italian Lorenzo Sonego (4-6, 6-2, 6-4), French lucky loser Kyrian Jacquet (4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4), Frenchman Arthur Cazaux (6-7 (1), 7-6 (7), 6-2) and Frenchman Valentin Royer (6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-3) before losing to Tien.
