Mubadala DC Open: Pegula makes semi-finals
Jessica Pegula won against Anna Kalinskaya 6-3, 7-5 on Friday evening and will face the winner of the match between No 4 seed Diana Shnaider and Liudmila Samsonova in the next round

American Jessica Pegula, the top seed, beat Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 5 seed, 6-3, 7-5 to move into the semi-finals of the Mubadala DC Open on Friday evening.
Pegula, ranked No 3, will face the winner of the match between No 4 seed Diana Shnaider and Liudmila Samsonova next.
Ahead of her victory, the American won against Pole Magdalena Frech (3-6, 6-3, 6-0).
