Federer’s induction goes global as International Tennis Hall of Fame locks in worldwide broadcast deal
The International Tennis Hall of Fame confirmed worldwide broadcast partners for Roger Federer and Mary Carillo’s induction weekend in Newport, opening the sport’s most prestigious ceremony to fans well beyond Rhode Island.

The International Tennis Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that this year’s Induction Celebration will be broadcast worldwide, giving fans across the globe access to a weekend headlined by the induction of Roger Federer and Mary Carillo.
The Induction Ceremony takes place on Saturday, August 29, at 6:30 p.m. ET in Newport, Rhode Island, hosted by Tom Rinaldi of Fox Sports. Tennis Channel will serve as the exclusive U.S. broadcast partner, with veteran analyst Brett Haber opening the celebration.
International coverage will extend across Europe and beyond through a growing list of broadcast partners. Sky Sports and NOW TV will carry the ceremony in the United Kingdom, beIN Sports in France, Stan Sport in Australia, SuperTennis TV in Italy, and BB Tennis in Russia and Belarus.
Tennis Channel will additionally distribute the ceremony live in Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India and Mexico, with further distribution agreements expected in the coming weeks.

The weekend will also include the Hall of Fame Celebrity Pro Classic presented by Fidelity Investments, with Federer set to play on Newport’s grass courts alongside fellow Hall of Famers Bob Bryan, Mike Bryan, John McEnroe, Stefan Edberg, Lleyton Hewitt, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, Martina Navratilova and Gabriela Sabatini.

They will be joined in doubles action by TV personality Joey Graziadei, comedian and former professional player Michael Kosta, and two-time major champion Garbine Muguruza, while Olympic alpine skiing champion Lindsay Vonn will open the event from the umpire’s chair.
Roughly 30 Hall of Famers are expected to attend the Induction Celebration Weekend in full, taking part in scheduled activities that include Thursday evening’s Courting Fashion event, presented by Chubb, and the Red-Carpet Pre-Show ahead of Saturday’s ceremony.
