Astana Open: Rublev into the quarter-finals

Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 5 seed, beat Chinese qualifier Zhizhen Zhang 6-3, 6-2 to reach the last eight of the Astana Open at the Daulet National Tennis Center in Nur-Sultan on Wednesday.
Rublev, ranked No 9, will play the winner of the match between Belgian lucky loser David Goffin and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino next.
In the previous round of Nur-Sultan, the Russian won against Serb qualifier Laslo Djere (6-4, 6-3). Zhang, ranked No 126, defeated Russian Aslan Karatsev (4-6, 6-4, 6-1).
