Australian lucky loser Adam Walton won against Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 6 seed, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Atlanta Open at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
Walton, ranked No 95, will face Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech next.
