ATP Marseille: Zhang sets up second round clash against Hurkacz
The Chinese player edged out Quentin Halys 6-3, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (3) in the first round on Tuesday

China’s Zhizhen Zhang edged out Frenchman Quentin Halys 6-3, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (3) to reach the second round of the Marseille Open at the Palais des sports on Tuesday.
Zhang, ranked No 52 and a quarter-finalist here last year, will face No 4 seed Hubert Hurkacz next.
The win ended a nine-match losing streak for Zhang against players ranked in the top 100 (his last one coming in September 2024).
