BMW Open: Fritz advances to last eight, comes back from a set down against Fucsovics

American Taylor Fritz, the second seed, won against Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals of the BMW Open at the MTTC Iphitos complex in Munich on Thursday afternoon.

Fritz, ranked No 10, will play the winner of the match between Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler, the No 8 seed, and Austrian Dominic Thiem next.

In the previous round of the Munich Open, Fucsovics, ranked No 75, beat German wildcard Max Hans Rehberg (4-6, 7-6 (6), 6-3).
