Qualifier Radu Albot beat American Aleksandar Kovacevic 7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-1 to move into the second round of the Bucharest Open at the National Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Albot, ranked No 139, will play Brazilian wildcard Joao Fonseca next.
