Serb Dusan Lajovic advanced to the second round of the Chengdu Open by beating Belgian wildcard Zizou Bergs 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 at the Sichuan International Tennis Center on Thursday night.
Lajovic, ranked No 52, will play the winner of the match between No 6 seed Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson next.
