Italian qualifier Riccardo Bonadio moved into the second round of the Chile Open by winning against Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan 6-3, 7-6 (5) at the Club Universidad Católica de San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago on Monday night.
Bonadio, ranked No 182, will face the winner of the match between Serb Laslo Djere, the No 6 seed, and Portuguese João Sousa next.
