Chile Open: Munar moves into last four

Spaniard Jaume Munar advanced to the last four of the Chile Open by winning against Brazilian Thiago Monteiro 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 at the Club Universidad Católica de San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago on Friday night.
Munar, ranked No 66, will play the winner of the match between Chilean Nicolas Jarry and German qualifier Yannick Hanfmann next.
The Spaniard edged out Chilean wildcard Alejandro Tabilo (6-0, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (5)) and beat Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the top seed (6-4, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
Monteiro, ranked No 84, edged out Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the No 5 seed (7-5, 4-6, 7-5) and won against Italian Marco Cecchinato (3-6, 6-3, 6-2).
