Cincinnati Masters: Coric knocks out Korda to reach second round

Croat Borna Coric, the No 15 seed, reached the second round of the Cincinnati Masters by winning against American Sebastian Korda 7-6 (5), 6-4 at the Linder Tennis Family Center.

Coric, ranked No 16, will face the winner of the match between Pole Hubert Hurkacz and Australian qualifier Thanasi Kokkinakis next.
