Cameron Norrie moved into the last eight of the Delray Beach Open by winning against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech, the No 9 seed, 7-6 (9), 6-2 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Wednesday evening.
Norrie, ranked No 61, will play the winner of the match between qualifier Michael Mmoh and No 3 seed Alex Michelsen next.
Cameron Norrie beat American qualifier Zachary Svajda (7-5, 6-4) in the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament.
In the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament, Rinderknech, ranked No 65, won against Kazakh lucky loser Dmitry Popko (6-2, 6-4).
