Adrian Mannarino advanced to the second round of the Dutch Open by winning against qualifier Arthur Fils 7-6 (1), 6-4 at the Autotron Rosmalen in s-Hertogenbosch on Tuesday afternoon.
Mannarino, ranked No 52, will play top seed Daniil Medvedev next.
