Australian Jordan Thompson defeated Canadian Milos Raonic 7-6 (4), 6-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Dutch Open at the Autotron Rosmalen in s-Hertogenbosch on Thursday evening.
Thompson, ranked No 103, will play Frenchman Adrian Mannarino next.
Ahead of his victory, the Australian won against French qualifier Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (6-4, 7-6 (3)).
Milos Raonic won against Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 5 seed (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Rosmalen.
