Wildcard Harris continues amazing grass season, into Eastbourne semis
Billy Harris won against Flavio Cobolli 6-7 (3), 7-6 (4), 6-2 on Thursday and will face the winner of the match between Australian qualifier Max Purcell and Serb Miomir Kecmanovic in the next round

Wildcard Billy Harris continued his exceptional grass-court season by defeating Italian Flavio Cobolli 6-7 (3), 7-6 (4), 6-2 to move into the semi-final of the Rothesay Open.
Harris reached the quarter-finals of the cinch Championships last week, losing to Lorenzo Musetti – and has now gone one better to make his first-ever Tour-level semi-final.
He is the fifth British man to reach the semi-finals in the tournament’s history, following Greg Rusedski, Tim Henman, Kyle Edmund and Jack Draper.
Harris, ranked No 139, will face the winner of the match between Australian qualifier Max Purcell and Serb Miomir Kecmanovic next.
Billy Harris defeated wildcard Jacob Fearnley (6-4, 7-6 (7)) and lucky loser Charles Broom (3-6, 6-2, 6-2) in the previous rounds of the Eastbourne tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Cobolli, ranked No 49, won against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech (6-4, 7-5) and edged out lucky loser Giles Hussey (4-6, 6-3, 6-4).
