Chilean Cristian Garin moved into the second round of the Estoril Open by winning against Austrian Jurij Rodionov 7-6 (3), 7-5 at Clube de Ténis do Estoril on Wednesday.
Garin, ranked No 112, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 5 seed, and Portuguese wildcard João Sousa next.
