European Open: Bautista Agut upsets Auger-Aliassime to make semi-finals

Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut edged out Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 3 seed, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (6) to reach the last four of the European Open at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp on Friday.
Bautista Agut, ranked No 60, will play the winner of the match between Australian Alex De Minaur, the top seed, and Frenchman Hugo Gaston next.
Ahead of his victory, the 36-year-old Spaniard won against French qualifier Luca Van Assche (6-2, 6-1) and Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 6 seed (7-6 (2), 6-4).
Auger-Aliassime, ranked No 21, defeated Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-2) in the previous round of the Antwerp Open.
