Fritz rounds out all-American semi-final line-up at Delray Beach

American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Delray Beach Open by winning against Australian Rinky Hijikata 6-3, 6-3 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Saturday night.

Defending champion Fritz, ranked No 9, will play compatriot Marcos Giron next.

All four semi-finalists at Delray Beach are American. Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe will meet in the lower-half semi-final.

The American beat Portuguese Nuno Borges (7-6 (5), 6-4) ahead of his victory.

In the previous rounds of the Delray Beach tournament, Hijikata, ranked No 84, defeated Liam Broady (6-2, 1-6, 6-1) and edged out Italian Matteo Arnaldi, the No 6 seed (6-2, 3-6, 6-4).
