Argentinian Pedro Cachin, the No 3 seed, defeated Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-5, 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals of the Generali Open at Kitzbühel Tennis Club in Kitzbuhel on Wednesday.
Cachin, ranked No 54, will play Serb Laslo Djere, the No 5 seed, next.

In the previous round of the Kitzbuhel tournament, Ramos-Vinolas, ranked No 82, won against Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas (6-1, 7-5).
