Top seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry beat qualifier Guido Andreozzi 6-2, 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Generali Open at Kitzbühel Tennis Club in Kitzbuhel on Wednesday.
Etcheverry, ranked No 34, will face the winner of the match between Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan and German Daniel Altmaier, the No 8 seed, next.

Andreozzi, ranked No 240, won against Austrian wildcard Filip Misolic (5-7, 6-4, 6-2) in the previous round of the Kitzbuhel tournament.
