Geneva Open: Arnaldi advances to second round
Matteo Arnaldi edged out Hugo Gaston 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-4 on Monday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between Brazilian qualifier Karue Sell and Hungarian Fabian Marozsan in the next round

Italian Matteo Arnaldi, the No 8 seed, moved into the second round of the Geneva Open by edging out Frenchman Hugo Gaston 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-4 at Tennis Club de Genève, Parc des Eaux-Vives on Monday.
Arnaldi, ranked No 39, will face the winner of the match between Brazilian qualifier Karue Sell and Hungarian Fabian Marozsan next.
