American Maxime Cressy advanced to the second round of the Hall of Fame Open by edging out Radu Albot 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (4) at the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in Newport on Monday evening.
This was the American’s first ATP level win of the year. Ranked No 180, Cressy will face No 3 seed Alex Michelsen next.
