Hamburg Open: Cerundolo, now unstoppable, moves into last four
Francisco Cerundolo edged out Aslan Karatsev 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (4) on Friday and will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the next round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo edged out Russian Aslan Karatsev 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (4) to advance to the semi-finals of the Hamburg Open at Am Rothenbaum on Friday.
Cerundolo, ranked No 30, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Italian Lorenzo Musetti next.
In the previous rounds, the Argentinian beat German Daniel Altmaier (2-6, 6-4, 6-2) and Russian Andrey Rublev, the second seed (6-4, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
Karatsev, ranked No 37, won against Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, the No 6 seed (6-4, 6-0) and edged out Colombian qualifier Daniel Elahi Galan (3-6, 6-3, 6-4).
