Hijikata tops Kecmanovic to reach second round at Los Cabos

Australian Rinky Hijikata reached the second round of the Los Cabos Open by defeating Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 6 seed, 6-3, 7-6 (2) at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Tuesday night.
Hijikata, ranked No 79, will face qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic next.
