Hong Kong Open: Muller upsets Fils to book spot in last four
The Frenchman will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Jaume Munar and Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the second seed, in the semi-final

France’s Alexandre Muller moved into the semi-finals of the Hong Kong Open by defeating No 4 seed and countryman Arthur Fils 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 at the Victoria Park Tennis Centre on Friday.
Muller, ranked No 67, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Jaume Munar and Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the second seed, for a berth in the final. This is the second time that the Frenchman has advanced to the semi-finals at an ATP event and his second career win over a Top 20 player.
Earlier in the week, Muller won against Swiss qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler (2-6, 6-4, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Hong Kong tournament, Muller edged out Serb Miomir Kecmanovic (5-7, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (10)).
Fils, ranked No 20, beat Belgian wildcard Zizou Bergs (7-6 (7), 6-4) during the second round of the Hong Kong tournament.
