Houston Open: Brooksby upsets third seed Tabilo to reach quarters
The American will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Corentin Denolly and American Aleksandar Kovacevic in the next round

American qualifier Jenson Brooksby edged out Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the No 3 seed, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (6) to reach the last eight of the Houston Open at River Oaks Country Club on Wednesday.
Brooksby will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Corentin Denolly and American Aleksandar Kovacevic next.
In the previous round of the tournament, the American won against Japanese Taro Daniel (6-4, 6-4).
