Houston Open: Kovacevic through to quarter-finals
Kovacevic will face fellow American Jenson Brooksby in the next round

American Aleksandar Kovacevic moved into the quarter-finals of the Houston Open by beating French qualifier Corentin Denolly 6-3, 6-3 at River Oaks Country Club on Wednesday.
Kovacevic, ranked No 79, will face fellow American Jenson Brooksby next.
Kovacevic won against Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 7 seed (6-3, 6-4) ahead of his win today.
In the previous round of the tournament, Denolly, ranked No 328, defeated American Brandon Holt (7-6 (7), 7-6 (8)).
