Krajinovic sets Queen’s final against Berrettini

Serb Filip Krajinovic won against Croat Marin Cilic, the No 7 seed, 6-3, 6-3 to move into the final of the Queen’s at Queen’s Club in London on Saturday evening.

Krajinovic, ranked No 48, will face Italian Matteo Berrettini, the second seed, for the title.

The Serb defeated American Jenson Brooksby (6-4, 6-3), American qualifier Sam Querrey (4-6, 6-3, 6-4) and wildcard Ryan Peniston (4-6, 6-3, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Queen’s Championships.

More notably, though, this week has seen him win his first-ever tour-level matches on grass.

Earlier in the tournament, Cilic, ranked No 17, beat wildcard Liam Broady (6-1, 4-6, 7-5), Kazakh Alexander Bublik (7-6 (6), 7-5) and Finnish qualifier Emil Ruusuvuori (7-6 (2), 6-4).
