Los Cabos Open: Koepfer into last eight

German Dominik Koepfer, the No 7 seed, won against Australian James Duckworth 6-2, 6-2 to move into the last eight of the Los Cabos Open at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Thursday night.
Koepfer, ranked No 84, will play the winner of the match between American Aleksandar Kovacevic and second seed Cameron Norrie next.
The German defeated Chilean Tomas Barrios Vera (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Los Cabos tournament.
During the first round of the Los Cabos tournament, Duckworth, ranked No 123, won against Finn Otto Virtanen (6-3, 6-0).
