Los Cabos Open: Ruud through to final, will face Thompson

Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 4 seed, moved into the final of the Los Cabos Open by defeating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the second seed, 6-4, 7-6 (4) at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center.
Ruud, ranked No 12, will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the top seed, and Australian Jordan Thompson, the No 8 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Norwegian won against American Marcos Giron (6-1, 6-0) and Portuguese Nuno Borges (6-3, 6-2).
Tsitsipas, ranked No 11, won against Australian Aleksandar Vukic (6-3, 6-0) and American qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic (7-6 (1), 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Los Cabos tournament.
