Madrid Masters: Khachanov into third round
Karen Khachanov edged out Roberto Bautista Agut 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 on Saturday evening and will face the winner of the match between Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 22 seed, and Italian Flavio Cobolli in the next round

Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 16 seed, moved into the third round of the Madrid Masters by edging out Spanish lucky loser Roberto Bautista Agut 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 at the Caja Magica on Saturday evening.
Khachanov, ranked No 17, will face the winner of the match between Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 22 seed, and Italian Flavio Cobolli next.
In the previous round of the Madrid tournament, Bautista Agut, ranked No 86, won against Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan (7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-1).
