Mallorca Open: Moutet moves into last eight
Corentin Moutet beat Daniel Altmaier 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) on Wednesday. He’ll face the winner of the match between top seed Ben Shelton and Learner Tien in the next round

Frenchman Corentin Moutet won against German Daniel Altmaier, the No 8 seed, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) to move into the quarter-finals of the Mallorca Open at Mallorca Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Moutet, ranked No 83, will play the winner of the match between top seed Ben Shelton and Learner Tien next.
In the previous round of the Mallorca tournament, the Frenchman defeated Spaniard Pedro Martinez Portero (4-6, 6-3, 6-0).
Altmaier, ranked No 59, won against Italian wildcard Fabio Fognini (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) during the first round of the Mallorca tournament.
