Frenchman Corentin Moutet beat Australian Christopher O’Connell 7-5, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Mallorca Open at Mallorca Country Club on Sunday afternoon.
Moutet, ranked No 79, will face the winner of the match between Belarusian Ilya Ivashka and Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, the No 8 seed, next.
