Mexican Open: De Minaur rolls past Ofner into quarter-finals
Alex De Minaur won against Sebastian Ofner 6-1, 6-3 on Wednesday night and will play the winner of the match between Italian qualifier Flavio Cobolli and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 3 seed, beat Austrian Sebastian Ofner 6-1, 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Mexican Open at the Princess Mundo Imperial Resort in Acapulco on Wednesday night.
De Minaur, ranked No 9, will face the winner of the match between Italian qualifier Flavio Cobolli and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 5 seed, next.
The Australian won against Japanese Taro Daniel (6-2, 6-1) in the previous round of the Acapulco tournament.
In the previous round of the Acapulco tournament, Ofner, ranked No 37, edged out Mexican wildcard Ernesto Escobedo (6-7 (7), 6-4, 7-6 (4)).
