Miami Masters: Tabilo overcomes Moutet in dramatic second round clash
The Chilean will play Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the No 30 seed, edged out Frenchman Corentin Moutet 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 to reach the third round of the Miami Masters at the Hard Rock Stadium on Friday.
The match was filled with drama as the Miami crowd loudly cheered on for Tabilo. That seemed to irk the Frenchman, who won the opening set. Moutet was seen egging the crowd on by gesturing with his hands towards them and as Tabilo inched to set point in the second, a fan made a gesture to Moutet, which the Frenchman complained to the umpire about.
Moutet wanted the fan ejected from the crowd but the umpire did not agree to that, resulting in the Frenchman refusing to continue play, earning him a point penalty and handing the set to Tabilo.
The Frenchman also received a game penalty at the start of the third set for an audible obscenity and although he saved two matchpoints in the 10th game of the decider, the Chilean was able to close out the win 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 and advance to the third round.
Tabilo, ranked No 31, will play Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 5 seed, next.
Moutet, ranked No 76, defeated Belgian qualifier Alexander Blockx (7-6 (5), 6-4) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
