Miami Masters: Walton books spot in third round
Adam Walton won against Luciano Darderi 6-4, 6-4 on Saturday and will face the winner of the match between wildcard Chak Lam Coleman Wong and American Ben Shelton, the No 13 seed, in the next round
Australian lucky loser Adam Walton advanced to the third round of the Miami Masters by winning against Italian Luciano Darderi 6-4, 6-4 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday.
Walton, ranked No 89, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Chak Lam Coleman Wong and American Ben Shelton, the No 13 seed, next.
Darderi, ranked No 61, beat Spaniard Pedro Martinez Portero (6-4, 6-1) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
