Monte-Carlo Masters: Auger-Aliassime advances to second round, will play Alcaraz next

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime reached the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters by defeating Italian qualifier Luca Nardi 6-2, 6-3 at Monte-Carlo Country Club on Monday.
It is Auger-Aliassime’s first Top 100 win on clay since 2022 Roland-Garros, and only his second win at Monte-Carlo, following a first-round win back in 2019.
Auger-Aliassime, ranked No 35, will play No 3 seed Carlos Alcaraz next.
